Maude Lemay

As a mom of two young boys, Maude started writing to meet a very simple need—that of her children. They wanted stories they could see themselves in, with real emotions and everyday moments. That's how this series was born, inspired by real life, to help kids and grown-ups better understand and navigate the emotions we all feel.

Marina Aguirre
Illustrator
Marina is an artist with a deep love for creating children's books. Originally from Mexico, she came to Quebec as a child and holds a diploma in illustration from Sheridan College. She is known for her thoughtful attention to detail and boundless curiosity. Marina was able to capture Matteo's emotions and bring his whole world to life with her artistic sensitivity and experience.

Daphné Lemieux
Psychoeducator – Consultant
Daphné holds a master's degree in psychoeducation and specializes in helping parents adopt a conscious and connected approach to parenting. She teaches parents how to nurture a calm, present, and safe environment to show their children support and compassion on a daily basis. Using a mind-body approach, her coaching fosters emotional regulation and genuine connection between parents and their children. Daphné lent her expertise to review the book's Journal of Emotions.
